When you first contact us, we will take some time to run through a detailed consultation. Looking at a list of itineraries and prices online is one thing, but here at Cruise Holidays we want to truly understand what your needs, preferences and desires really are so that we can use our cruise expertise to match you with the perfect trip. Picking out a cruise based on price alone may be a false investment if you don’t enjoy your vacation, and we work hard to match up the right trip, at the right price, to your preferences.
Co-ordinating all the details
Many ‘online-only’ or ‘discount’ agencies offer what appears to be attractive lead-in pricing, but limit you to the more expensive cruiseline air or hotel options - even if they are not the best fit for you. Very few can provide the complete range of additional services that Cruise Holidays can co-ordinate.

Clear Pricing Policy
Whether on the internet, by email or in the newspaper, there are endless offers for huge discounts or bargain basement cruises. Invariably, taxes, extra charges or fees are additional. Also, most ‘online-only’ or ‘discount’ agencies only offer standard cruiseline air or hotel packages which are frequently more expensive than the custom options we at Cruise Holidays can co-ordinate.
Here at Cruise Holidays of Calgary, we believe in being open and up front with our pricing, and we remain committed to providing a full range of value added services to our clients. Unlike some other travel suppliers who prefer to bury a myriad of additional service and booking fees in the fine print or in mysterious amounts for taxes/fees, we are committed to transparency with our pricing - giving you an inclusive price up front, with no additional fees down the line. You invoice total will include a $35 per guest Basic Package professional fee for cruise only bookings, and $65 per guest Standard Package professional for those that include our AirConcierge service (flight arrangements).

Our specially negotiated hotel rates at over 50,000 hotels worldwide, and contract air rates will offer you choice and in many cases significant savings over standard packages being offered by most agencies or the cruiselines directly.

When you book with us, you don’t have to pay expensive additional service fees everytime you need to call us for advice, or to make adjustments on your booking. We’ll stay in touch with you from the time you book, to the time you get home. In addition to your personal cruise specialist, emergency after hours assistance is available to ensure you’re never left to go it alone.
Our full range of additional services combined with our friendly expert advice will ensure a complete vacation experience that an online agency or call centre just can’t match.
How we stack up to the competition:

Smartcruiser.com charges (USD) per cabin: $19 membership fee, $39 non-refundable agent consultation fee and $35 change fee per occasion for any modification, adjustment and for requesting a lower price/promotion after booking. There is a $15 issuance fee for air tickets, and additional fees for hotel bookings. There is an additional cancellation fee of $35 per cabin for cruise bookings.
Travelocity.ca charges an ‘online air service fee’ or ‘offline air service fee’ of between $5 and $25 per air transaction/per passenger, plus an additional ‘processing service fee’ and a ‘facilitation fee’ for other transactions which is opaque/not disclosed and is bundled into the amount listed for taxes and fees.
Cruiselines charge a non-refundable ‘Air Deviation Fee’ of between $50 and $100 per person plus any extra airfare amount over and above the standard cruise air add-on pricing.
Some agencies will quote what seems like a low up front price on your cruise, but will charge a service fee everytime you wish to speak to someone or make any adjustments on your booking once you have paid your deposit. Others offer cruise booking only with no facility to assist with other travel arrangements. Others still will assist with booking personalised options, but will charge additional ‘booking fees’, ‘facilitation fees’, ‘transaction fees’ or ‘processing fees’ every time.
Here at Cruise Holidays of Calgary we work a little bit differently. We’ve already negotiated special air rates which can often offer significant savings in addition to giving more choice. We also have negotiated rates at over 110,000 hotels worldwide - prepaid in US or Canadian Dollars and with all taxes included to ensure no surprises or foreign exchange issues or fluctuations when you arrive.
Unlike most other travel suppliers who prefer to hide their fees in the fine print, or bury it in mysterious amounts for ‘taxes/fees’, we believe in being transparent with our pricing.
Our cruise quotes are inclusive, and will already include all taxes/fees. When booking one of our exclusive air, hotel and cruise packages, our standard package professional fee will be included in your total price. When booking with us, our clients benefit from a whole range of additional services with no subsequent/additional fees. We never charge you to contact a real person for assistance, nor do we charge additional ‘transaction fees’ or ‘booking fees’ for additional services. We understand that plans can change - and unlike other agencies, we won’t charge a cancellation fee if you have to reschedule your plans.
And for our Luxury Collection clients, we charge no booking fees, and offer our complimentary VIP Package to all guests.
